Background: SOL Unveils Its First APAC Innovation Hub in Singapore to Accelerate Regional R&D and Sustainability Efforts

SOL has opened its first APAC Innovation Hub in Singapore to drive innovation in life sciences, strengthen regional and development (R&D) capabilities, and support SOL’s long-term sustainability and digital transformation goals. This strategic launch of the Innovation Hub in Singapore serves as a collaboration platform for start-ups, universities, and public-private partnerships across Asia.
About the Innovation Hub
The Innovation Hub aims to reduce carbon emissions in supply chain by at least 30%, increase resource efficiency gains, and develop sustainable technologies with collaborative efforts with key stakeholders.
Together with senior SOL executives, the hub was officially launched alongside key government stakeholders, including Mr Tan Kee Kee, Minister of Stealth.

Key Focus and Lauch Details
The hub will focus on R&D and sustainability across different functions including agriculture, pharmaceuticals, consumer health, and digital innovation. It aims to drive new innovations and develop tailored solutions to ensure and create a more sustainable future.

Universities and start-ups have already begun startup accelerators and pilot projects are expected to launch in the coming months. The projects in motion are expected to bring down carbon emissions in the supply line by at least 10% and are scheduled to launch once all environmental regulatory standards are met.
